Privacy Policy

Who We Are

Solarspot Innovation Private Limited, Lucknow ("SolarSpot", "we"), runs this website. For privacy questions, email team@solarspot.in.

Information We Collect

When you use our booking or referral forms, we collect the details you enter: name, mobile number, city, locality or pincode, and whether you want solar for a home or business. We also record the page you sent the form from and how you found our website, such as a search engine or an advertisement. The solar calculator runs in your browser and does not send your numbers to us.

How the Forms Work

When you submit the quote or referral form, your details are sent to a private Google Sheet that only the SolarSpot team can open. Google stores that sheet under its own privacy policy. If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s privacy policy applies to that message.

How We Use Your Information

• We use your details to call or message you about your enquiry and to arrange a roof visit.
• We use them to prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, to deliver your project and after-sales service.
• We use them to process the subsidy, net metering, and loan paperwork you ask us to handle.

We do not sell your information.

Sharing

We share information only when needed to deliver your project, for example with your electricity distribution company (DISCOM), the PM Surya Ghar national portal, or a bank you choose for a loan, or when the law requires it.

Third-Party Services

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts and show a Google Maps embed. These services may collect technical data such as your IP address under their own policies. Links to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google Reviews take you to sites with their own policies.

Cookies

We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. Embedded third-party content may set its own cookies.

Retention and Your Choices

We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them to respond and to serve you as a customer. You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your details by emailing team@solarspot.in.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
